The multimedia exhibition ‘Michelangelo: The Creation’ opened in St. Petersburg’s historical Lutheran St. Ann’s Church On May 22, 2016. The sensational show brings alive the renowned frescoes of the Sistine Chapel ceiling and the Last Judgement as Michelangelo’s masterpieces are projected onto giant screens. The show also features works by other Renaissance geniuses, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Rafael, Giotto, Sandro Botticelli and Titian.
The exhibition is sure to appeal to audiences of all ages, with its format being a fusion of cinema and latest multimedia technology, including multichannel graphic animation, dozens of state-of-the-art HD video projectors, giant screens and 3D audio.
